The first week of my new Blog… and Bourbon Whiskey Infused Pork

It’s been difficult getting this blog up and running. Unfortunately, Grannie needs some tech support. But I did make one delicious recipe today and attached is a pic.

Take one pork tenderloin, salt and pepper it, and bake at 350 degrees about one hour. While it is cooking, take 1 1/2 cups of Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and simmer it about 15 minutes, until all the alcohol is cooked off, and you are left with about a cup of brown liquid. Pepper it and add 2 tablespoons of butter. Keep warm on low heat, and when the pork is finished, slice it against the grain, and put the slices into the liquid. Stir around and allow the juices to infuse the sliced pork tenderloin.

Serve with mashed potatoes and fresh green veggies. Also very good with sweet potatoes baked with brown sugar and butter. pork
